which of these majors do you think?

<pre><code>I'm debating majors right now (since I don't have to declare until end of sophpomore year), and was wondering what your input was.

<p>I can either do Biochemistry (which is interesting, and I'd like to do)</p>

<p>or</p>

<p>Plain old Biology with a minor in Physics (which I'd REALLY like to do)</p>

<p>It's fairly complicated scheduling a Biochemistry Major with a minor in Physics, and would probably not allow me time to volunteer,research, etc.</p>

<p>which do you think would look better to a med school... or do you think it doesn't really matter as lnog as I'm donig what I like and getting good grades, etc.</p>

<p>Honestly it doesn't matter what your major is in college. If you REALLY want to do the later, go for it! Getting the high GPA and getting some research in would make you a much more competitive applicant.</p>

<p>Do the one you care more about. They will look essentially the same to the ad coms, and you will likely do better in bio and phys because you sound actually interested in physics, a good indicator that you will try hard and do well.</p>
