Which of your AP scores are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my 5 on AP Environmental Science. It’s my favorite subject and I self-studied it and Human Geography as a sophomore, which I also scored a 5 on.

I’m more proud (out of 2 5’s so far) of my 5 in AP Euro. I ended up with a “B” in the class Second Semester and I doubt many of the people in my class who had “As” also ended up with 5s. Just goes to show you that grades aren’t always fully representative of your abilities.

My four in language, since I half-expected a 3. Language is not my best subject so getting a 4 really makes me feel like I have improved greatly in the subject.

My 5 in Chemistry. I’m not going to lie - Chemistry was a bit of a struggle for me. My teacher was gone for three months, and I had to teach myself.

5’s in French Language and European History (though I want my paper report to make sure I wasn’t hallucinating when I called). I’ve only taken French for 3 years and the curve is pretty harsh, so I’m ecstatic about that score, and my Euro teacher was an idiot, so I really worked my ass off studying for that exam.

5 on BC. I know almost everyone gets a 5 on BC but my ****** of a physics C teacher who thought i was a fail child always use to tell me that i wasn’t good at calculus, math wasn’t right for everyone, that i probably should find a different path because i wasn’t good enough for anything math and/or science related, and not qualified to be in AP Physics C or Multivariable Calculus. Yeah AP physics C was a fun time…(not)

5 on AP US History in my freshmen year

I was really proud of that score. My guidance counselor just randomly threw me in that class (freshmen don’t get to choose their schedule) and I was terrified for the first few days, couldn’t even switch out of it either.

But I’m glad I stuck with it because it was worth it. It became one of my favorite classes.

5’s on chem, US history, and calculus.

MOSTLY the 5 on calculus… LOL because i thought i bombed it.

My 5 in Art History, considering how much we had to memorize

My 4 in Calculus AB, because I had a C all year and generally got Cs or high Ds on all the tests

I haven’t gotten my scores for this year, but even without them I know…

5 on Art History sophomore year

My teacher was awful, and the sheer amount of material involved was insane. The textbook is the size of three of its compatriots put together, and it covered all of art history from cave paintings to the 1990s. And I am absolutely terrible at both art and history; I am much better at understanding than memorization, and my sister took all the art my genes had to offer. I just needed the class to get a fine arts credit without having to do any actual art. I studied more for that AP alone than all 7 of mine this year. And it paid off!

Oh, and they didn’t even want to add sophomores to that class, but the other sophomore and I were the only ones to get a 5. I liked that.

Either my 5 in Computer Science AB, or my 5 in AP Chemistry.

Since CollegeBoard discontinued AB for this year, I had to take it last year as a Sophomore without having taken the course (or the A course, for that matter). All I had taken was an introductory level Java course that was WAY slower than what I was used to anyway. I had been teaching myself programming since I was 13, and getting a 5 on a mostly self-study just confirmed that I was pretty damn good at my favorite subject. I went to the actual AP classes review sessions, and they were actually…kinda…behind. Nobody besides me got a 5 in my class, but at least one person got a 4.

As per Chemistry, my teacher only has a few 5s altogether so far, I think he had two or three last year. So he was really hoping that some people in my class (especially me) got 5s, but a lot of the practice exams made me worried. So when I heard I got a 5 I was absolutely ecstatic. He was pretty disappointed with the actual free response questions, like the difficulty, though, so it takes away from the satisfaction. :</p>

But I’m proud of both scores anyway. :)

I’ve only taken two: APUSH and English Lang. I got a 5 in APUSH and 4 in Lang, so I’m most proud of my APUSH score. I don’t think anyone at our school has gotten a 5 in a few years, so I’m pretty proud of it. I have to say that I did put in a lot of work over the year, so I’m glad I ended up with this result. Also, our class consisted of about 25 people, and we all got pretty close over the year and got APUSH sweaters for the entire class, so I’m glad that the 5 can add to the good memories I’ll have when I wear/see the sweater. ;D

I got a 5 on US History and a 3 on Lit. I’m really proud of my US History score, since my APUSH teacher had told me that only about 25 kids in his 9 years of teaching had scored a 5.

Since I’m still waiting for my recent scores for this year, I’m going to say APUSH. I love history, and my teacher was great. We had like 60+ students and we got 17 5’s. I got a 5.

somehow i pulled off a 5 on physics mech…i literally put my pencil down 10 minutes into the 45 minute free response section, and it wasnt because it was just that easy haha

Econ: Micro 5.

Despite having multiple 5’s, my proudest AP score was a 4 in AP Physics C. I absolutly did not learn anything in my physics class. On the actual exam, I guessed on every MC question and did not complete any FRQ. I am still amazed that I scored higher than any practice test I had taken earlier… must of been a favorable curve :)

Probably my 5 in statistics. I did nothing the whole year, managed two As for the semesters, and somehow managed a 5. It was clutch candy.

I was proud to get a 5 in psych in the face of my non-AP, non-honors, non-anything Psych teacher who told me that “he couldn’t get a 5 on the exam, let alone me.”

Teachers like that bother me. Their past doesn’t have to become their students’ future, but they can’t think as such.
