Which one do I pick?

Hey everyone,
Needed some help and reassurance as to which choice to pick for this summer as I am applying to colleges later on this year. I have the choice of either doing and internship for a month or 2, or not do an internship(if I dont find one that is 3 weeks or less), and then go to a summer course for pre-uni students, at my main uni choice, in the field I will be applying for. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

Internship. Much much more valuable to have work experience.

What kind of summer course are you talking about and what university ?

The Uni is University British Columbia, although I do have other choices in the US and Canada, that is my main choice. The course is a 2 week course for computer programming, getting you started in Uni level courses.

Do the internship. Presumably it’s longer than 2 weeks. And it looks better to have a job than a class.

Do the internship then, unless you can do two weeks on campus for fun (it won’t help your admission the way the internship will but it can be like a 'discover university life’s camp.)
