Hi guys,

I am going to transfer to a four yr college in coming Fall and still wondering which one is more suitable for me.

I know it's a bit late to talk about where to go. However, I really struggle a lot with my final decision. I am accepted by UT at Austin and UWashington, Seattle. I like UT so much. For UW, I don't feel good with it but not that bad.

In UT, I am admitted to their Business school with unspecificed major. I have to take Calculus II in UT before I can declare my major (Accounting). I wonder would there be a chance that I cannot declare my major in UT? Since there may be many students wanna major accounting, if more than they can accept, will they force unsuccessful students to major in other fields, like Marketing?? Would I still have a chance to major in Accounting? Also, I don't know whether my courses in cc are transferrable to UT or not since I am an out-state transfer student. I wonder if they would transfer my Accounting classes as they didn't evaluate them so far. I really wanna go to UT but would it be too risky for me to go there, like require more time to graduate?

For UW, I have a better deal since they accepted me to their Business honor program (too late to apply for BHP in UT since I have taken financial and managerial accounting). Also, I am admitted to their accounting deapartment (transfer junior)which means there is no doubt I would graduate with an accounting major (unless i change my major). However, business program in UW is not as famous as that in UT (at least, UT is more famous). Also, it is hard to be admitted to UT as an out-state transfer student (non-resident). You know around 10 out-state students are being admitted each year. Hence, I don't want to give up such a good offer.

So, guys, please tell me which one is a better deal for me, UT or UW? (btw, i transfer from a cc in Washington state, so all my credits should be transferrable to UW.)

Thanks so much!!!
