which one is best to focus on?

Which one (SAT or ACT) should I focus on to improve my scores?

I took the SAT twice and my superscore is 2060.
I took the ACT and got a 30.

Which one do I have a better chance of improving enough to be considered for the ivies? Which one should I devote my time to studying?

I'm thinking ACT...fo show

bump.......

2060 / 30 looks alright with the ivies. But I think most of the ivies want 31. But still, you could get accepted with a 30.

I'd say retake it if you're really determined you can raise your ACT.
I think you'll only raise your SAT by like 50 at most, though.

My subscores were:

Act: E-34, M-30, R-28, S-29

Sat: Cr: 660 M 720 W 680

Well, it depends on what you're good at. If you're really fast at doing questions, go for ACT. If you're good at analyzing passages and grammar, SAT.

I bet if you study really hard for the SAT CR section by doing a lot of practice tests, you will be able to get a 36 on the ACT reading. For me, I would get a 30 or less on ACT reading, but after prepping for the SAT, I consitently get 36s. Its sooo much easier.

ACT is easier. SAT is wierd analytical stuff.
