SFSU or SJSU?
Both accredited by the AACSB.
If I go SJSU parents will force me to stay at home (Which I'm really against)
SFSU I'd get to live on campus.
I heard for business its really about location and internships to companies around there.

“parents force me to stay at home” - I know sometimes life circumstances force one to allow undue influence by parents (I had the same problem, there was multiple reasons I simply had no other options whatsoever but to allow them to control me in areas they morally should have had no control), but if this is in any way by choice, your first priority should prevent them from having any control over what you do from this point on. Talking about things is one thing, but the decision for anything should now be 100% your own. However, the point is for you to make responsible decisions on your own, not irresponsible decisions on your own.

I’m also from San Jose. Except I decided to move all the way to Chico to go to school. I don’t really regret my decision, Chico is a great place, it’s just that like california150 said… there is a huge advantage to going to school nearby corporations and businesses. Chico does not have this.

San Jose and SFSU both have plenty of larger corporations nearby and your chances of landing a summer internship are going to be somewhat equal.

I would pick SFSU because you’re going to learn alot of life long lessons leaving your parents house and I feel that everyone should do it asap if they can. Just don’t smoke weed and drink every day like many of the other SFSU students do. I know because I have a friend that goes there, when I visit him we like to party… and so do the other students. It’s a pretty fun school and in a great location.

Thanks ryhend88! That was a great post. I was reading up and saw that if its accredited by the aacsb it doesn’t really matter unless of course its an ivy league and that location is a huge key to land internships which is a key to future jobs
