Hey everyone! I got both offers for CompSci from Imperial College London or University of Waterloo. So I am wondering which one is better. I am also planing to have graduate program in one of the top U.S university such as MIT. So I want if going to Imperial would be better since it is more well-known. Can answer my question? Thank you very much!!
Both are intense. I personally prefer the flexibility of North American unis. Both would set you up well for grad school. Waterloo has far more startup founders in Silicon Valley (being on the same continent helps).
The top CS grad schools would know about the reputation of good CS programs the world over, so Imperial confers no advantage. Waterloo probably sends more students to top American CS grad programs (again because they are on the same continent and Canada has roughly the same higher ed system as the US).
What are costs?
