Which one of these two looks more impressive to colleges?

Case 1:

SAT: 2100
Math: 740
CR: 670
W: 690

SAT II:
Math Level 2-800
Physics-800

Case 2:

SAT: 2330
Math: 790
CR: 770
W: 770

SAT II:
Math Level 2-730
Spanish - 710

Case 2.

700+ in SAT IIs mean little to colleges. A difference of 230 points on the SAT reasoning test on the other hand is huge.

Probably case 2. Big change in CR does say something. However it still depends on the major that your second SAT II score (physics or Spanish) counts.

I need to clarify what I said.

I didn’t mean that colleges care little that you got 700+ in SAT IIs, I meant that they care little whether you got a 730 or 800.

Case 2 by a mile. Colleges care much, much more about the SAT than the Subject Tests.

Case 2 for the aforementioned reasons.
