After getting my schedule, I looked to see that I was given AP Studio Art even though I never asked for it. Since AP Studio Art takes up two class slots (4x4 block schedule), I have two slots open. I had the idea of taking either Yearbook/Journalism (takes up two slots) or Environmental Science and Home Ec./Ceramics.

I plan to major in journalism in college, so it'd make more sense to take the Yearbook/Journalism class. However, the main focus of the class is the yearbook and a classmate that's in the class told me the journalism part is a joke. I don't want to work on the yearbook AT ALL. I just want to take the class for the journalism part.

Environmental Science seems interesting (AP Environ Sci. was discontinued this year from lack of interest). I've been trying to take Home Ec. since 9th grade LOL and Ceramics sounds fun. It would be the only easy class out of the rest of my schedule.

Should I choose Yearbook/Journalism even though 90% will deal with yearbook and I won't learn much about journalism but it would look good for college or should I stick with Environ Sci. and an elective? Here's the rest of my schedule:

Human Anatomy Honors
