Which one should I choose?

I'm a college freshman and have offers to do internships at the following two places near where I go to school for the spring semester ( I have the goal of harvard kennedy school or law school):

-- Budget and Management intern, NYC Parks Dept

--Small Business Administration intern, NY district office

Entirely depends on two things: the significance of the actual work you will be assigned and the executive level you work with. You want “results” to come from an internship, something legit on your resume. Ie, you produce research, analyses, reports, (even if it’s achieved on a team) versus being another filled seat in a string of meetings. Parks could offer some direct-impact opps. SBA district office could offer the opp to insert yourself into a variety of policy-implementing activities.

anyone have other opinions?
