I took SAT1, SAT2 and ACT. I submitted ACT and think I will sent my SAT scores also. I will take SAT1 or SAT2 in January but I think if my SAT2 is high enough, I will retake SAT1 and see if the score improves. Should I retake SAT1 or SAT2?

SAT
CR 560
Math 800
Writing 680
Composite 2040

I agree with SAT1; your math scores are high and show that you're probably pretty good at physics (maybe you had a bad day, or your physics teacher didn't teach much of what is on the physics exam). I don't see anything suggesting that your writing/reading scores are low (by CC standrads) because of bad luck. Especially if you're a native english speaker, I would study for the CR part of the SAT1.

Thanks for your post... My school is in a place where there are less than about ten students(out of 170) taking SAT every year... Our cirriculum doesn't prepare SAT2s very much and some teachers give tests the day before SAT... I hope that 560 won't hurt me too much.

my scores were similar to yours (im not a native speaker either) and i ended up retaking physics (740 to 800). if you prepare well enough, physics is pretty easy for you to shoot for high scores (i took AP Physics C, so i self studied waves, optics, etc)

Do you mind telling me your stats?(GPA, APs...) My schedule is the most demanding in my school so I am confident about school record...

So I should try to get higher on physics rather than retaking the SAT1? I did bad on physics because I didn't get accurate preparation... Thanks to Barron's
