Hello everyone,
After viewing your hotly disccussed posts I can't help asking a question.
I'm interested in biology and biotechnology and I have been admitted by WPI and U of Iowa.
But I have also applied to Tulane, Rice, Lafayette and Bates and their results are still pending. Should I reply WPI or wait for the other institutions? I think WPI is a good place to study biology and Rice is maybe too difficult for me. What should I do then?
Thank you very very much.

First of all, your screen name is disgusting. Second, I don't think you should make this decision until you have all of your options on the table. If you still think that Worcester Polytechnic Institute is your best option once you all the others have informed you of your decision then nothing is lost. However, if you get into any of the others and feel that they would be a better fit, you will sure be glad that you didn't commit to WPI. On an unrelated note, you should definitely consider Rice very strongly, they are affiliated with the Texas Medical Center (largest medical research campus in the world) and have a great reputation in the sciences.

Definitely wait it out; you may have a change of mind come May (or whenever you'll be sending your decisions in). Maybe you'll get money or financial aid from one of the four "pending" schools.

Thanks~~
Name disgusting? Oh...
Wait. I understand.

I would definitely wait for Rice to see what their response is. Other than Rice, Iowa is already a very good school for biology so I would wait for Rice and then choose between Rice or Iowa
