Math 1: 790
Math 2: 760

Obviously I did better on math 1, but would colleges regard my math 2 score more highly? Going for like MIT and stuff, might just retake math 2 because I can do better

If I didn't retake and those were just my scores, which one would you send? A higher score in a lower level test, or a lower score in a higher level test?

But I have a 760 on math 2, did you mean math 1?

Definitely Math II. It covers all the information of Math I and more. It’s much more rigorous of a test, and anyway the score difference isn’t as profound as it may seem.

Math II is more for higher level students. Math I is for students who have not gotten to pre-calc by senior year.

You really should have picked one, and everyone I know who targetted Ivies and top schools did Math II, and was told to avoid Math I.

For some reason, people think Math I in sophomore year, and Math II in senior year, but it’s more like Math I is 6th grade, and Math II is 9th grade.

So even though my score is better in math 1, I should send math 2? Should I send both?

i think you should send in math2
