This is a sort of repost but I want more opinions.

University of Delaware
+ I love the school
+ It has a good location
+ Beautiful campus
+ Friendly student body- I already have a lot of friends on Facebook and non of them are jerks unlike at UConn or UMass
+ Good academics
+ I will apply for the honors program sophmore year
-ONE NEGATIVE- it's the most exxpensive

UMass-Amherst (Honors)
+ Good academics
+ Good opportunities after college
+ Five College Consortium
+ LEAST exepnsive
+- Insane parties
- Ugly and spread out campus
- like UD better

UConn
+ Good academics
+ It's like a city by itself
+ Nice campus + a lot of it is being renovated
- In the middle of nowhere

My parents will pay at least $7,000 a year for college. Next year they will probably pay more as they will have more money. Any opinions?

Linkin - My hunch is that in your heart you love UD, and you're looking for reasons to make that choice. Have you contacted the UD Financial Aid office, told them your dilemma regarding UMass, and asked if they could reconsider your aid package?

Delaware or UConn

Go to Delaware. You seem to like it the best and the cost is actually fairly similar in comparison to the other two.

I emailed them and they didn't send me much help back. They only said they will change if my father died for instance and there was a huge change in income.

I will call them tommorow.

UMass. Simple.

bueller.... U ass

Why am I an ass exactly? It's cheaper, and the honors program means the academics are the strongest. If the OP feels strongly that delaware is the place then they should go there. Objectively I've gotta pick UMass.

Oh, I get it, you're way biased towards UConn. Hiding that bias makes your opinion less valuable.

UMass is no UConn

Go to UD...it sounds like you would be happiest there.

Where do you want to work when you're older? I would make my decision based on that...

Somewhere in the northeast. I will probably major in engineering or something to do with scince like astronomy.

bump (10char)

Hard choice, I can't really help you. I've only visited Uconn, and it is awesome. Plus they have the best sports teams out of the 2 other colleges.

Delaware has been my choice for a long time but I haven't visited UConn and UMass-Amherst yet. Should I visit them and then decide or should I just stay away from going so I don't confuse myself even more? I doubt I will like UMass bc of the campus and a few other reasons but I have been keeping it bc of the Honors Program. Should I just forget about it? If I go to Delaware, I will do the Honors Program in my sophmore year.

UConn .

Visit UConn....but you can not go wrong with Delaware...

Yeah, I'm visiting UConn on Tuesday. I;m just scared it will confuse me even more.

Is it easy to get a job after graduating from Delaware? I will apply for the honors college in my sophomore year so that will help.
