So far i have gotten into these colleges (in no specific order) and i need help deciding which one is "better". My intended major is bioengineering or biomed engineering.

UCD (bioengineering)
UCI (biomed engineering: premed)
UCR
Cal Poly SLO (biomed engineering)
GA Tech (out of state)
Case Western
University of the Pacific

I'd choose Davis or Cal Poly SLO, depending what kind of environment you like better.

Will Georgia Tech cost you a lot more than the UCs and CPSLO?

I have heard that Case Western is good for such programs. Is money a factor?

I'd prolly choose UCD over SLO...i guess because it's a UC
GATech will cost a lot more...but money is not a very large factor

If money's a factor, go to Davis.

I suggest visiting Cal Poly and Davis if you haven't. Cal Poly has a really good reputation in engineering.

Davis is excellent. The small town, inland environment doesn't suit everyone.

Visit those schools if you haven'y already. I visited both and liked neither. But then again I hate hot, dry rural places.

i don't mind the location of davis or Gatech
but SLO didnt really appeal to me.
but i am keeping my options open

also...which school would give me the best shot at going to a good graduate school in bioE or BiomedE.
