Which parts of physics do you have to do and like to be an ME?

I was told that different engineering disciplines have different areas of physics that they have to do and be better at.
What area of physics is most important and do you learn the most for mechanical engineering?

Mechanics, fluids, and thermodynamics.

It’s basically all useful depending on what your eventual job becomes. Mechanics would be the most heavily-weighted, though.

In hs AP Physics, liked Mechanics but did not care for Elec/Mag. In college I started as Civil Eng but switched to MechE. (I intentionally avoided EE and ChemE).
