So I have this really good problem but need advice. I will be doing my summer internship at an indoor water park from May-Aug. This internship is the last thing I need for college to graduate! I was also accepted to the Disney College program last Friday. The program will start in Sept but I need to prove to my dad why its good for me. Few things I need to consider are that the internship this summer may offer me a full time job and then I will loose the $300 deposit that Disney wants by this Friday. Or the internship if they offer me full time would let me do Disney since its a great opportunity!

Another very important thing is I am having a surgery to fix my overbite and the doctor yesterday said I was ready but its a 2 month recovery or more so Id need to wait anyway until after summer internship to do it in Sept. But if I do Disney I will have to wait until January for the surgery and that is what my dad wont like. He wants me to do the surgery as soon as possible after summer internship. I really want the surgery but I think Disney is a great opportunity for me since I am a recreation major and got the role for attractions. I can’t reapply to Disney because you can only apply when you are in college and I will graduate after the summer internship.

My dad is paying for the surgery, splitting my summer rent with me and Disney is all my own. Internship and Disney are both paid jobs. My dad loves to use the excuse that he is paying for things to stop me from deciding what I want to do with my life. Do you think its a bad idea to wait until January to do the surgery since I have this once in a life time opportunity at Disney that will look so good on my resume and also could loose the $300 deposit Disney wants by Friday if internship offers me a full time job after this summer?

I feel like doing sugary in September is more practical but is it really? Disney could help me so much in the future and I know I should do what makes me happy.
