I am a senior in high school with a tough decision to make. Here it goes: I have two major options to choose from. I've been accepted into the University of Detroit Mercy and Lyman Briggs College at MSU (residential college). At the University of Detroit Mercy, I have many connections. I would likely be accepted in a Dental Program at UDM. However, my life goal is to become a doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. In essence, UDM offers me security, and MSU offers me opportunity. Which path should I choose? My will power is very strong (thank God), and I will not change schools or majors after this decision. I am also very fluid and flexible; I could adapt to most careers and love it.

Sorry, this is not an answer to your question, but I would like to know if you got into UDM 7 year dental program. If not, do you know what it takes to get accepted? Thanks in advance.

I’m very well aware of what it takes, but I’ve made my decision to attend Lyman Briggs as a pre-med student. Thanks for the help.
