<p>I would say that it is almost completely a numbers game. In practice, only the handful of law schools at the very top with small enrollments (in practice, that would be only Yale and Stanford; maaaaybe Chicago when they use merit money) get so many applicants with top stats that they can afford to be holistic and pick and choose who they like from that pool. At the vast majority of law schools (including HLS), it doesn’t matter what your undergrad was or what your major was so long as your LSAT and GPA are both above median.</p>
