The Central California Valley; I'm temporarily here & its one of the worst places in the nation.

^No, it's not. Trust me.

Newark, NJ

New Jersey or Seattle ..... those places just make me tingle inside... in a bad way.

btw. Panglossian... the Central Valley is a pretty awesome place imo... as long as it's not Bakersfield. I hate Bakersfield.

..The middle of nowhere.

anywhere near my parents house...

oh and probably not the south either

Frankly, as for me, there's no place I'd "NEVER EVER EVER" consider moving to. I love to explore. I don't mind living in a "crappy" Place if I can achieve my goals....learning abt people around the world...or just well...a lotta stuffs.

I would hate to live in a town that has only a gas station and a 7-11
Also, the kind of town that has a high teen birth rate that repeats it generation after generation.

Probably a land locked area.
Anywhere outside of the US.
Anywhere where I am over two hours away from a major city.

Nowhere freezing all year long. I'd rather be somewhere hot all year long than freezing.

My town doesn't have any gas stations. Beat that.

It is within an hour of a city of 300k people though, so it's not that remote.

My town doesn't have a single traffic light.

Hanford/Lemoore ring a bell? It's fairly close to Bakersfield, is it not?

I had a nanny for a few summers that was from southern Illinois. She was in the minority from her town that actually went to and graduated from college.

Most of the girls from her high school either had babies in hs or shortly after.
And the thought of being a grandmother when you can still biologically have babies would not work well for me.

The town that we live in is pretty small too, but very safe and only minutes to the beach and an hour to Philly ( not that I enjoy going there , but the airport is handy )

places that are cold
atlanta, ga
well, most of the south, excluding texas

I'm not close minded.. I'd like to go everywhere and learn more.

^^^^ now that is a great attitude !

San Fran. Though its got a lot of opp., i would not like to move there.

I don't like the idea of living out in the middle of nowhere.

Midwest that's not near a fairly large city. Cold and desolate is not a good combo.

I'm surprised by how many people say they would never move to the South. Someone mentioned tales of racism scare him/her.

But see, I live in Florida (am a minority) and the tale here is that the North is racist. Everyone talks about it. So if the North says the South is racist, and the South says the North is racist, who the hell is racist at the end? lol.

I think only very few, very small towns might be racist in the entire US in general. But not whole regions. :)
