Which of these practice test books are the closest to the real ACT?
We do already have the Real ACT book and the other booklets of real ACTs.

McGraw-Hill's 10 ACT Practice Tests, Third Edition by Steven Dulan (May 25, 2010)

Barron's 6 ACT Practice Tests by James D. Giovannini and Patsy J. Prince M.Ed. (Feb 1, 2012)

1,296 ACT Practice Questions, 3rd Edition (College Test Preparation) by Princeton Review (Feb 5, 2013)

I like Princeton Review. The hardest section for a test prep company to write is the science section. PR’s science is hands down the best I’ve found outside of official materials.

Thanks, southseventh. I’ll get it!!

I agree with southseventh. I have used each of these books with different students, and I can tell you that the PR book is by far the best.

McGraw-Hill is quite a bit easier than the actual test, especially in the reading sections, which are much shorter than they should be.

[McGraw-Hill’s 10 ACT Practice Tests, Third Edition: Steven Dulan](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0071736972/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=0071736972&linkCode=as2&tag=savoli-20)

Barron’s has some very wrong answers in it, confusing sentence structures in the reading sections, and errors in the science section. It almost seems like a bad translation from another language at times. I would not recommend this one.

[Barron’s 6 ACT Practice Tests: James D. Giovannini, Patsy J. Prince M.Ed.](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0764147226/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=0764147226&linkCode=as2&tag=savoli-20)

Princeton Review has longer reading sections and more challenging questions all around without being more confusing or frustrating than the actual ACT test will be. Save yourself some money and go with this one.
