Which practice test should I believe?

Hey guys!
So, I'm enrolled in a Kaplan test program, which I received for free off a scholarship.
We've taken three tests so far, and I've gotten around a 1900-2000 each time.
However, I just took a practice test in the PR book and got a 2200.
Which should I believe? What will be closer to my score? Thanks!

I don’t think either is as accurate as taking collegeboard tests those are the ones that will be closest to your real score.

I wouldn’t really believe either set of scores. Your best bet is to sit down with the Blue Book from CB. Take it like you would take the real test and the tests are very accurate.

Both above posters are correct. Those tests are created by the respective companies - they are not actual practice SATs. The tests in the College Board “Blue Book” are released past exams - they are an accurate representation of your score. To get them, just search “Blue Book” on Amazon. There are two editions but the second has only three new practice tests; if you don’t plan on taking very many practice tests, the First Edition of the book is probably best. Courses like the Kaplan course you’re taking are not, supposedly, the best way to improve your score; there are specific books for each section. For more detailed information, peruse the “SAT Preparation” forum on this site.

Make sure you get the 2nd edition of the blue book - it’s the only one 3 actual SATs. Only these 3 will give a truly accurate score for you.
