Hello!

I just started to study for ACT; I bought so-called Red Book of ACT, but I notice that I need a prep book to study (as Red Book is mostly on ACT practice tests). I like to choose one from either Princeton Review, Mcgraw Hill, or Dummies Series. Which prep book do you recommend for ACT beginner? ALso, is there any good website that I can practice for ACT?

Thanks in advance!!

Barrons if u have time. PR for a condensed version.

Any good sites? The ACT website itself has sample practice questions you can work on. They also provide a free practice test you can print but that requires a lot of paper.

Have you taken any practice tests yet? If not, you should take one and score it before investing in practice materials. The study materials you should use really depend on where you’re starting in terms of score.

Whether you should even bother studying also depends on where you start.

I’m new to this ACT stuff, and I bought a Barron’s book a while ago. It’s really helpful, only if you’ve been devoting a good portion of your time to studying from the book.

But imo, taking practice tests is the most important part of your preparation for this test.

does barrons have a score chart? I can’t find one.

What is the best ACT prep book to increase my scores?
