-Blue Book
-Cracking the SAT (2006 ed.) Princton Review
-Kaplan SAT -comprehensive 2008 ed program
-Barrons 23rd edition

which should i start with???
i dont plan to take SAT for another 5-6 months unless plans change.

cracking the sat princeton reveiw or kaplan, then go for barron ,and blue book at last(for practice).

^ thanks…theres nothing wrong with the prep books is therE?

I don’t recommend Kaplan. See the thread “Is Kaplan crazy?” I do recommend the Princeton Review, Rocket Review and Direct Hits Vocabulary. See the thread “Which Vocab list/book performed best on the March SAT?” for supporting data.

Not sure about Barron’s 23rd edition. Eager to see Barron’s 2400 but local Border’s was out. Ordered a copy from Amazon but haven’t received it yet.

thanks guys…i took my first full practice SAT in the PR book…

1st score: 1730 (w/o the essay)

ok so i need to get this up to 2200 by september.

^ How do you figure? Did you just predict what your essay would’ve been and calculated using that?

^no i just took the writing sub-score…

the cracking the sat book really helped me…I highly recommend it for you!
