<p>I was recently accepeted into St johns University and University of the Sciences in Philadelphia for Pharmacy. both are a 6 year pharmacy program and both have similar tuition. I was wondering which one is more reputable. which one of these two is better in terms of the quality of college and the classes. thank you for all who reply</p>
<p>According to the US News Pharmacy Rankings, USP is ranked #31 and St. Johns is ranked #61. </p>
<p>[Rankings</a> - Pharmacy - Graduate Schools - Education - US News and World Report](<a href=“http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-pharmacy-schools/rankings]Rankings”>http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-pharmacy-schools/rankings)</p>
<p>I would visit both schools and see which school would be a better fit for you.</p>
<p>Thanks flipper. bump please</p>
<p>For the love of all that is good, do not go to USP. Being a decent student at USP, I regret coming here. I am a sophomore and getting into 3rd year is very tough. Staying in USP is harder.
The GPA minimum is 3.0 cumulative. That is INCREDIBLY hard to maintain in college, especially in an accelerated program. 0-6 program.
They care more about pumping money out of the people than keeping people in.
They rid 50% of the incoming class by year 6 and they hide and lie about the numbers.
The professors don’t give a **** about their students and grade by a 60-70% bell curve, insisting on failing students to get an average of 70% in their classes.
I do not recommend you go here.
The work is long and tedious.
While it is very possible to graduate, this school will test you and break you.
It’s an endurance run. Can you survive?
It’s not about reputability. It’s whether or not you can get your degree.
USP is the first pharmacy school in the nation.
It is very well known and reputable. But the education is so very lacking and no one gives a darn about their students.
Also the staff is very rude in every department. Of course you’ll find a few good professors, but the rest are horrific.
Your goal is to get straight As.
Can you really take 5-6 years out of your life?
Your question should be: What is the best pharmaceutical school that will support its students and help him or her graduate?
My answer is: Not USP.</p>
