I’m looking to major in business and have been accepted into the following schools:
UC Riverside
UC Santa Barbara
UC Davis
UC Irvine
UC San Diego Honors Program
^which all are around $28000-30,000
Boston University ($58000)
Northeastern ($46,000)
and
USC World Bachelor’s in Business program ($$$$$$$)
I feel like for undergrad it’s not worth shelling out the money for private schools, especially when I’ve been accepted into UCSD’s Honors Program and all the other UC’s that cost a lot less. However, USC’s WBB Program is so incredible and although I don’t like the locations we will be studying in, the idea in itself seems amazing. It’s a once in a lifetime experience but it is also the most expensive.
I could either accept USC’s WBB program and travel extensively each year, or go to a UC for 1/2 the cost and study abroad my last year at the country of my choice. The thing that draws me to the WBB program would be receiving diplomas in each international school, but the most frugal route would be the UC path.
Is it honestly worth the extra $90,000, dangers of other countries, and struggle of learning two new languages for international diplomas and an edge in the workforce with this startup program?
