These are the main parts of my application, and I'm really not sure of where I should be looking though. I've heard that 2200+ is really needed for places such as Miami or Northwestern, but do I have a chance at those? Or should I be looking at Drexel/Albany Med?

How about the ones you like? It isn't all about getting into a program. You'll be very unhappy if that's what you think. Find programs you LIKE. Nobody can tell you what you like. Also make sure to apply out. As in schools that don't have programs as well......

Also Drexel has raised their standards as well......don't underestimate things. These are tough progs

Perhaps you should tell us more about the atmosphere, size of school, etc. a little and maybe we can actually come up with something for you. honestly, no one can just look at stats and say _________'s BS/MD is a good fit for you because we don't know what kind of school you would prefer . . . pick one out for yourself.

I wasn't really looking for a school suggestiong, but more to if my grades qualify for things like the HPME or PLME programs.

School programs that I am interested in are albany med, U of Miami, Norhtwestern, Brown, Boston University.

Note: I just found out that my GPA in 3.8 UW.

And thank you for the advice.

i believe you are a strong candidate for northwestern and boston u. Brown, however, is harder.

Brown isn't harder to get in than Northwestern. The two are about equally difficult to get in and there are people who got accepted in Northwestern but not Brown and vice versa. If anything, Northwestern's admits traditionally had higher stats (1535 on SAT and top-1% two years ago; Brown had 1440 according to their website). Northwestern also has stricter testing and entrance requirement (math2c & chem SAT II a must and calculus before entering)

Yeah, and I believe Northwestern admits less people than Brown does....but don't hold me to that....Miami should also be right around you're range too. I'm applying there and I've got pretty much identical stats as you.

however, i think northwestern med school is better than brown's or is it vice versa?

nw is better than brown (med schools)
