Which "reach" schools did you get into?

<p>I got into pretty much all my safeties and target. But did not get into a single reach. I see a lot of postings from people who say they did not even get into their target schools. I am curious to see how many people got into their "reach" schools - as defined by you.</p>

<p>Depending on what you qualify as reach, I have gotten into 2 (Swarthmore and Williams), although my qualities and essays (I destroyed the Williams one) are very good for liberal arts schools, so I didn’t really consider them reach schools. I got waitlisted at a bunch of others (MIT, Columbia, Brown, Pomona, Duke) which kind of bummed me out.</p>

<p>I got into an early entrance program at USC (with an acceptance rate much lower than their general undergrad acceptance rate), Dartmouth, U Penn and Harvard. Stanford is my #1, and I haven’t heard from them yet, but I’m expecting rejection since my academic record isn’t the best and I don’t have a fourth year of high school coursework. I don’t know how I got into Harvard haha. Art, maybe? Rejected at MIT, Yale, Princeton, Columbia and Pomona and waitlisted at Pitzer and Brown. I almost didn’t get into my safeties though xD</p>
