Which reading part is easier? SAT or ACT?

Does any one who took both SAT and ACT?

For reading part, what do u think is easier?

both have pros and cons:

personally I think ACT reading is easier.

in the ACT you have 4 passages you have to do in 35 min. Time is a huge factor in the ACT reading. This will make or break your score.

ACT definetely....no sentence completions
i got a 690 and 710 on CR for SAt and a 34 on the ACT

i think SAT because it's all about line references and vocab, plus there is more time.

ACT definately imo.

I got a 33 on the ACT reading ( with prep ) but a 510 on the SAT CR ( with no prep )

I don't know about the questions or the timing, but it always seemed to me that the passages on the SAT were at a higher reading level than those on the ACT: you'd have to concentrate harder and read slower. Is that still true?

my thing is the SAT passages are kinda boring and irrelevant....i find it hard to analyze passages about cheetahs and other random things

ACT passages were more interesting...kinda like the AP english language

easier to analyze, the questions seem more clearcut

The timing for the reading on the ACT is the kicker

the ACT has easier questions but time is a bigger issue, the SAT has harder questions which are less objective and more subjective but the time is easy

SATs by far. All their passages are amazingly interesting and the passages, usually come from good sources. No offense to ACT lovers, but the ACT passages are soooooooo bad.

Half the time, the passages are written soooooo weirdly I never have seen them in my life. the SAT passages are written well and seem either to be from a book I'd read or a newspaper article. It's more sophisticated and plays to my liking. ACT seems sooo pointless and boring, I just can't even focus.

Questions-wise, I think the SAT does well with showing you where to look at and if you understand the passage, you'll get it right. for the ACTs, I had no idea for multiple questions, where I was like, NONE OF THESE MAKES ANY SENSE.... -_- but that could be just because I couldn't concentrate...

ACT passages are easy, but you have to skim them.
