Which reading source would provide me with the type of reading closely aligned with that of NEW SAT?

I like the long passages from the old (pre-2016) SAT. These are approximately the right length.

For American history readings, read from American history sources from the Common Core. For science, read Scientific American. For contemporary events, read the New York Times (especially editorials and book reviews).

Write a short statement of the main idea for each paragraph.
