Because Rice is a selective institution I’m wondering if I should send all of my SAT 2 scores. I have a 760 on Bio + Chem and I’m planning on sending those both, but I also have a 720 on APUSH. I have a 5 on the AP however and I’ve already sent those. I was wondering if I should send the 720 or just leave the admissions officer with the 5.
Also I have 3 1330s on SATS and 1 1510 I just got back. Rice requires I send all scores, how much will the gap in scores hurt me?
@Derek17 Just curious the lower sat’s were they when you were younger? I know some schools take them in each year of high school.
Yeah I just never studied until my senior year, and that is obviously reflected.
@Derek17 My D got 720 on SAT2 Bio but 5 on her AP, so she decided to submit AP only. You don’t have to submit all the sat scores I heard. Also starting this year sat2 scores are not mandatory for Rice and won’t hurt your chances even if not submitted. I’d suggest you turn in all your SAT 1 scores though as they show you’ve really excelled going from 1300s up to 1500s. Good luck!

Only send good SAT 2’s. I had a 760 Math 2 I sent in and a 610 English I didn’t, no harm done
