Your ACT and SAT scores are almost identical in the conversion charts. Just send one of your ACT scores since you cannot combine your highest sub-scores. A lot of it depends on what schools you are applying too; some schools tend to be more SAT consentrative and vice versa. Another thing for the ACT, depending on your major, choose the ones with the highest sub-scores associated with that major because some schools are a little more partial to that than others, but all of your scores are outstanding.

I'd go with the 2nd ACT since you can't really combine for the composite of 33. By the way, omni is wrong on how it converts. Well sorta...a 33 SAT convers to about your SAT score, but a 32 ACT is much lower.

well, im going for something like a degree in math, ecological biology, and maybe go to med school. i guess i plan on sending SAT to all schools. so which ACT should i send to which school? im applying to:
amherst
rice
dartmouth
pomona
uchicago
wesleyan
university of puget sound
grinnell
carleton
washington university in st.louis.

thanks for your input guys.

btw, rice DOES take the highest composite on the ACT. "We will consider the highest subscores for the best possible composite SAT I, the best composite score for the ACT, and the highest score from any of the same SAT II tests taken."

luckily, when i took the ACT the only school i sent scores to both times was rice :)

also, is it worth it for me to take the SATs again in january? ive taken them twice already, first time 1470, second 1490. 800math both times and 670verbal, 690 verbal respectivly. should i try and brake 700 on the verbal considering im applying to so many LACs?

When I read the best composite score, that would be the 32 as that is your best composite. They recalculate the SAT but not the ACT from reading that statement

Oh, sorry, when I saw the combined was a 33, that number kind of stuck in my mind for the conversion factor. Yeah, a 32 is lower than his SAT. My bad.
