<p>I took pr and it was good. But you can get the same results prepping on your own.</p>
<p>how about TestMaster. Most people say PR focuses on basic skills.</p>
<p>the op says hes getting 1200 - which means he needs help with basic skills.</p>

<p>I think that a course will help a bit. A ton of getting a better score is going to come down to personal drive and you doing every single question you can get your hands on!!</p>
<p>if you need help with getting basics, then take Princeton Review or Kaplan. once you get better, take Elite if you are california resident.</p>

i am taking kaplan, my sister took it and she did well (about 2100). but she said she had an amazing teacher, so i think it depends on who is teahcing the class</p>

<p>Kaplan was good. I got an 1830 Diagnostic exam up to 2010 in one week. I eventually got a 217 PSAT and a 2070 SAT.</p>
