Which SAT IIs to send?/How important are SAT IIs?

I am applying for either chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or biochemistry.

750-Math I
730-Physics
790-Chemistry

Also, how much can SAT IIs help one get admitted? Will my subject scores help or have no effect. Thanks.

bump…

Some admissions committees view Subject test scores as important predictors of success at the college level (second only to AP/IB test scores).

All three of your Subject test scores are good. Your Chem score is quite strong. You should consider taking the Math Level 2 test if you are applying to any engineering or math-intensive programs.

Thanks for the response. I might want to take the math 2 test in November. Do you think that it is essential to take it though?

Several top-tier engineering programs specify that applicants take the Math Level 2 Subject test.

A hard-working student who has already taken Precalculus and puts in the appropriate amount of preparation should be able to score well on the Math Level 2 test.

That being said, if the schools to which you’re applying haven’t set that requirement, then don’t bother taking it. It’s not “essential” unless it’s listed as a requirement.
