I just got my SAT math II scores back and received a 740- while that isn’t a terrible score, the curve on the test makes it pretty low percentile wise. I have a perfect score on two other SAT II’s, but I took one of them in a language I’m fluent in. Do you guys think it would be better to submit the 740 or an 800 in a subject I was pretty much guaranteed to do well in? (Note: I am re-taking the math test in November, but I’m not sure how much I’ll be able to increase my score… I find time management a struggle and there aren’t many free online tests I can practice with)
Percentiles are meaningless to SAT subject tests. (e.g., sometimes an 800 is 80th percentile). Demonstrated proficiency in the subject is key and a 740 definitely does that. Thus, you should likely send all subject test scores
