Hi, I am a junior hoping to apply to very competitive colleges. As many know, the highest ranked colleges require 3 SAT IIs. I was wondering whether anyone had any thoughts on which tests to take: I am currently thinking of taking US History (I am in AP right now), Physics (I am in pre-AP), and perhaps Spanish writing. I am afraid to take math as I am in Statistics now and haven't done much "real" math in a while. Also, do colleges prefer Spanish oral over Spanish writing? I would really appreciate some suggestions and opinions. Thanks

anyone??? please

why dont you think about it? You're taking an AP class in US History, so you'd be best off in that. don't take Math Level 2 if you haven't taken Pre-Calc yet, but you could take Level 1...

Don't take Physics if you aren't in AP, unless you're willing to learn like crazy

spanish is very hard

yeah. unless you're a native speaker, you might want to think about it before taking spanish

Take a math subject test, no matter what major you are thinking about. If you did not take precalculus, take Math IC (Level) 1 (assuming you took second-year algebra).

The SAT II Spanish tests are Spanish listening and Spanish reading, not oral and writing. If you feel comfortable with the language, I'd say go for it; get an official test (from the official guide) and see how you do.

It's definitely okay to do reading over listening, since listening is offered ONLY in November (and thus doesn't make some deadlines, may be after you've finished Spanish, etc.).
