I am applying as an engineering major to Berkeley, San Diego and Davis.

670 Crit. 730 Math 780 Writing - 2200 Comp.

720 Crit 700 Math 800 Writing - 2220 Comp.

Math is higher in the first test, but Crit. is under 700 and the composite score is lower. Which test should I choose since I can only put a single sitting?

P.S. Will math even matter if I scored high on the SAT Math II?

Send the 2nd score. Your high Math II score will make up for it.

I was under the impression UC’s force you to send all your scores and superscore everything. When you send both scores, the UC’s will just only input your highest. The admissions officers have way too many applicants to worry about who took the test twice.
