I am really sorry guys if this is a duplicate post, but I could not find an answer to this question on the forum.
I took SAT in December 2012 and am taking SAT in June 2014 for Fall 2015 application.
First question: do they accept June SAT scores if I am applying from August 2014? This question bothers me because June 2014 SAT is not the test of the 2014-2015 school year; it is the 2013-2014 one.
Second question: if the university requires me to send all test scores, should I also send 2012 one? It seems to me the result is just too old.
Thanks in advance!

If a school requires all scores, you do generally need to send all your scores from your high school years, even if that means they are a couple years old. Colleges will see the testing date and notice if you took a test early in high school.

SAT and ACT Tests can be taken at any time and in any year, although you need to be sure you don’t take them too late to meet application deadlines. It is normal to take tests for the first time in junior year (3rd yr of high school) and many people also take them in fall of senior year (4th year of high school;this is often the same calendar year as the junior year testing). Some people even take the tests for the first time in sophomore year (2nd year of HS). All of these scores can be submitted with your college apps.

Thanks! :)

Colleges will use for admission any SAT which you took during high school which is not more than 5 years old. Thus, the Dec 2012 and June 2014 tests are both good for applying in Fall 2014 for admission in Fall 2015.

if the college requires you to provide all your SAT scores, that includes the Dec 2012 and June 2014 tests.

Your sophomore SAT for sure will be counted. I also don’t see any problem to use your Junior SAT from June to apply for college at all.

SAT acceptance practices per school below. Easy to find but the nuance between practices is a little tougher to discern.

In general, version 1. seems to be the preferred method of the top schools. (Stanford is an all score school) Notice that version 1. does not indicate that it will use top scores in the final admission process.

The vast majority of schools will only look at your highest SAT scores. Best of luck! Write some great essays.
