Which SAT scores should i use on apps?

Which scores should I use?
CR:710
Math: 710
Writing: 650
2070
OR

CR:730
Math:660
Writing: 670
2060

I am thinkin top one cause math score is higher, but the writing is lower.(i think i got robbed on my essay) but whatever

For this year's applicants, most schools still feel that they don't have a good enough feel for the writing, it's scoring, curves, etc to count it yet so the majority of schools still look to just CR and Math on the 1600 scale. For those schools that look at it, they mostly use it more like an SATII would be used. There are a few that look at all three but you can call the admissions office of each school and get that info.

Also, most schools will mix and match test scores from multiple sittings rather than stick with a single sitting. When you call the admissions office, check what each school does.

So, for most schools, you will use the highest individual score on both tests.

CR:730
Math:710
Writing: 670
2110

For those schools that look at single sitting, I would use the scores that maximize CR and Math so the 1st set as that puts you over 700 on both of those.

In any case, great scores and congratulations!

I agree with keepmesane. I called the UF admissions office for my son, and they readily told me that if you take the SAT multiple times, they will take the highest Math score and highest CR score. As for the Writing section, she said that they just want to see that you took it and passed it, but it's not figured into the admissions equation.

The woman who answered the phone told me this, and I didn't have to be passed on to anyone else to get an answer. Makes me think that scores of people are calling them with the same question. Call your admissions office, and it might be easier than you think.
