Which SAT subject tests should I take? And how many?

<p>As of now I'm not sure of which college I want to attend, although UPenn is on my list. I am also not certain about my intended major (probably a Pre-Med track and/or computer science/engineering).</p>

<p>I already took the SAT Math II and got a 790 in 10th grade (I'm in 11th now).</p>

<p>I was wondering which additional SAT subject tests I should take? I am currently taking AP Bio so I was considering taking the SAT Bio E or M although I heard it was difficult. Plus, I was considering taking the Lit Subject Test (although I'm not taking AP Lit) as I heard it is just based on innate ability not a class. I heard that for some engineering programs you need a non-Bio science, but I'm not taking AP Chem or AP Physics until Senior year. Is it still a plausible idea to take one of the subject tests (I took Honors Chem last year).</p>

<p>How many tests should I take? The "easy path" would be to take just Bio as I have the AP class supplement and I already took Math II. However, I heard it is beneficial to take Lit as a "right-brain" test and Chem or Physics as a non-Bio science. Can anyone attest to this? Also, not to be stuck up or dismissive about my 790 on Math II, but would it be worth my time to retake it when I go to take Bio or the other subject tests? </p>

<p>It depends on the schools you’re planning on applying too. Some don’t have any requirements, others recommend or require 2, and a select few recommend 3. Take whichever you are most confident in and do not waste your time or money taking Math II again.</p>
