Elementary concepts of probability and sampling; binomial and normal distributions. Basic concepts of hypothesis testing, estimation, and confidence intervals; t-tests and chi-square tests. Linear regression theory and the analysis of variance.</p>

<p>-Introduction to Macroeconomics
Analysis of the aggregate economy: national income, inflation, business fluctuations, unemployment, monetary system, federal budget, international trade and finance.</p>

<p>-Computer Programming I
Basic programming-in-the-small abilities and concepts including procedural programming (methods, parameters, return values) , basic control structures (sequence, if/else, for loop, while loop), file processing, arrays and an introduction to defining objects.</p>

<p>-Introduction to Psychology
Surveys major areas of psychological science. Core topics include human social behavior, personality, psychological disorders and treatment, learning, memory, human development, biological influences, and research methods. Related topics may include sensation, perception, states of consciousness, thinking, intelligence, language, motivation, emotion, stress and health, cross-cultural psychology, and applied psychology.</p>

<p>-Calculus with Analytic Geometry II
Second quarter in the calculus of functions of a single variable. Emphasizes integral calculus. Emphasizes applications and problem solving using the tools of calculus.</p>

<p>-General Chemistry I
For science and engineering majors. Atomic nature of matter, stoichiometry, acids and bases, chemical equilibrium, and gas laws. Includes laboratory.</p>

<p>I would take option 1 even if option 2 was only Calc with analytic geomertry II</p>
