Which schedule is best?

Hello everyone, I need some help making my schedule for senior year. I'm positive I want to take AP English Literature and AP US Government and Politics, but that's about it haha. Any type of feedback for which of these four options would be most helpful. Humanities are my strongest subjects, while math is my weakest (though I am not terrible at math, I have an A+ currently in precalc). Which do you think will be the best for a busy, but motivated student (suggestions don't have to follow this pattern exactly, any mix-matched one would help!) Thank you

A:

Physics (non AP)
Calculus (non AP)
AP English Literature and Composition
AP US Government and Politics
AP European History
Honors Economics
AP Spanish Language

B

Physics (non AP)
AP Calculus AB
AP English Literature and Composition
AP US Government and Politics
Honors Economics

C

AP Physics B
Calculus (non AP)
AP English Literature and Composition
AP US Government and Politics
AP European History
Honors Economics

D (same as A minus AP Euro)

Physics (non AP)
Calculus (non AP)
AP English Literature and Composition
AP US Government and Politics
Honors Economics
AP Spanish Language

Probably A with AP Calculus AB.

Think about it in terms of what you want to study in college, and credit/placement you can get if you have some colleges in mind that offer those options. You don’t need to take Physics B if you’re not going anywhere near the STEM fields. But if you’re doing well in Pre-calc then you should be fine with Calc AB if you want it. Between AP Euro and Spanish, Euro is the easier of the two unless you happen to be a native Spanish speaker.

Balance playing on your strengths while taking the hardest classes you can. Schedule C but switch out the Euro for Spanish.

If you are not the strongest math student, do not touch AP Physics B. It is such a rigorous class and if you are not willing to do some of the hardest math you’ll ever have done thus far, do not take it.

AP Calc AB, however, should be fine. My friend was pretty average at math (560 SAT Math scores, B-B- in honors math classes) but ended up getting an A in Calc AB and a 4 on the test from hard work alone.

I say Schedule B, but add AP Euro or Spanish.

@Repede I was actually considering this, even though 5 AP’s might be killer.

@mynameismott I’m considering STEM (potentially a pharmacist or something), but I’m not 100%.

@johnnyboytunes Do you have any experience with AP Spanish?

Even for pharm you don’t really need to take AP Physics. Have you taken AP Chem or Bio? If you have, don’t take AP Physics and take AP Calc instead. Calc, Physics honors, English, Gov, Spanish, and Economics if you can fit it. If you haven’t, take AP Physics and Calc honors with the rest of that stuff. That’s my opinion. Hope it helps.

I think you should definitely take AP Calc. AB is not that hard and you should be able to handle it fine even with 3-4 other APs
