Which School For Computer Science Degree?

My GPA and ACT scores are above average, but not the best

AP Classes:
AP Chemistry
AP Computer Science
AP Macroeconomics
AP Physics
BC Calculus (AP)
AP Statistics

Extra-Curriculars: Robotics Team, Varsity Soccer, President's Award (100 hrs of community service)

Work: Computer Science Internship at NASA

Major: Computer Science

Which colleges can I get into?
Would my AP classes of Computer Science and Statistics, impressive internship, experience on a well-known robotics team allow me to earn admission in a top-ranked CS school (Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, Cal, Rice)? Or would I settle for a slightly lower-ranked school due to my slightly less than superior GPA and ACT scores (USC, UCLA, Georgia Tech, Washington)?

Any input would be helpful. Thanks!

What is your GPA? (you don’t have to reveal if you don’t want to.) It’s hard for me to say whether you have a good chance at these schools or not because your standard of “superior” grades might be different from mine, but I can give you some advice. You might need more extracurriculars, but it does seem that the EC’s and classes that you have at the moment are definitely geared towards your interests. If you improve your grades and standardized test scores over the next year and do well on the APs, I think you will have a good shot at the top CS schools.

My GPA (weighted) is 3.8 and my ACT score is 31

What is your Unweighted? Your weighted scale at your school might be different from other schools. I believe your ACT score is pretty good (the average ACT score at my school is 32 for students who got into Carnegie Mellon). You might want to try improving your ACT score to boost your chances even more  Nevertheless, good luck to you!
