Between UC Davis and UC Santa Barbara, which school has a better biology program?
I’m applied as a biochem/molecular bio major (to be exact) and was accepted to both schools.
Both schools have excellent Biology programs. Pick the school which best fits you.
I really have fallen in love with UCSB…only thing is my parents and family really want me to choose Davis. They’re concerned about the partying at SB, of course. I’m trying to convince them that both programs have equal merit!

They are both excellent. It is unfortunate so many non-UCSB students have descended on Isla Vista and ruined a really cool scene. As evidenced by your parent’s concerns, It is undermining the reputation of the school.
There’s a party scene (but no beach) at Davis (and virtually every college in the US) too.
If you are confident you won’t be unduly distracted by the beach and hubub - UCSB is will provide an education that’s every bit as good as UCD.
Tour both schools and their surrounds with your parents. Talk to current students about how ‘safe’ they feel and how they navigate their distractions.
