Which school has the best pre-med program?

Cal Poly San Luis Obispo
University of Michigan
University of Wisconsin
University of Illinois
University of Indiana
University of Iowa
University of Minnesota
Mizzou
New York University
Boston University

In your opinion, or fact based on how many students they send to med schools each year.

Thanks

UMich, BU, NYU to me stand out as probably being the most pre-med heavy. Never heard of the first one, but any of the others would provide you what you needed. Go to your in state, the cheapest, and/or the one that fits best.

Budget cuts have severely impacted the Cal Polys, so it is hard to get the classes you need to graduate within 4 years. My daughter’s principal said expect to take 5 or 6 years.

I would say BU stands out the best for someone who is looking at medicine for sure.

It does not matter, whichever fits you the best. But if they all the same to you, U of Mich is our top

I know BU is one of the notorious schools for producing pre meds like a factory, like UVa. Analyze it as a plus or minus yourself, but they do have a voluminous amount of pre-meds. I consider it a bit of a plus, minus the in-school competition.
