Hi I’m majoring in nursing next year and i’m trying to decide which college is best that I have gotten into for nursing. I will also put how much each school gave me.
-Umass boston (7k)
-Pace U(29k)
-Sacred Heart U(13k)
-Drexel U(17.5k)
-Temple U(0k)
please reply
Check at each school:
A. Whether you are direct admit for nursing.
B. If yes, what are the requirements to stay in the nursing major?
C. If no, what are the requirements to get into the nursing major?
D. What is the NCLEX pass rate?
I believe that Drexel is that best out of those. However, it is the most expensive. So I’m not sure if it is worth it.
Can you find out the answers for the questions in reply #2 for each school?
How much can you and your family afford without taking loans?
Doesn’t matter how much each school gave you. It matters how much the net cost is for each school.
Also…how much can your family contribute each year for college??
For nursing, really just go to the least expensive school for you
Your situation would be easier to understand if you stated your net costs, not the FA amounts.
Agree with everyone about the net costs. If you’re MA in-state, UMB is probably the most affordable. You can’t go wrong doing clinicals in Metro Boston.
OP is in CT. DACA so no federal loans??? These are expensive options unless they are very wealthy
