Uw Madison or u of m? Which has a better business school? I like tht u of m is a direct admit

Michigan by a decent margin. Wisconsin is definitely solid, but Ross is a top feeder.

Ross does not “direct admit” most of its students. Only one-third of Ross students are direct admits. The remaining two-thirds apply after completing their Freshman year at Michigan.

As for which business school is better, Ross clearly has the edge, but Wisconsin is also good, particularly in Real Estate and Risk Management. I think the difference in cost of attendance, assuming the OP is OOS for both, is worth noting. Michigan will cost $15k more than Wisconsin annually. Over four years, we’re looking at $60k. If the OP is looking for a career in consulting or finance, and cost of attendance is not a concern, I would recommend Ross. However, if the OP does have financial limitations and is looking for a standard corporate career at a Fortune 500 Company or with any industry other than consulting or finance, I think Wisconsin is worth a look.

Thanks for your help… Sorry I should’ve clarified. I mean u of Minnesota
