<p>When applying for all my college applications, I wanted to major in bio. Since then, I realized that I'd rather go into business. I got accepted to NYU's CAS as well as UCLA's LAS. I understand that UCLA has a bizecon major and/or economics major, but then again, NYU has the regular CAS economics major (which is not part of STERN) and pre-business. Now, the NYU lady I spoke to on the phone told me that it's nearly impossible to transfer to STERN (which is supposed to be a lotttt better than CAS in terms of taking...business), and that I probably would have to take economics with pre-business if I go there. </p>
<p>Which school has a better economics major? Would it be worth it to go to NYU for business if I don't go to STERN?</p>
