I am going to be a finance major and I was wondering what the opinions are on JMU, Penn State, and Maryland. It would be great if someone could discuss the pros and cons of all three schools, but any information is appreciated.
Penn State is probably The best. Great business school. Maybe Maryland too. You can’t really go wrong with either one but PSU definitely has the edge on Maryland. As for JMU, it’s far behind the other two.
You will be OOS for at least two of the schools. Can you afford them?
I would go with Maryland, then Penn State, then JMU. JMU does have a quantitative finance program so I think all 3 can get you where you want to go. Maryland/Penn State will likely have larger alumni networks.
