<p>newmassdad, first off, chill out! haha. it's just a question that I had. First off, I don't think anyone on this forum would say those schools i named are all equally as hard to get into; to say it's equally hard to get into university of florida and university of north carolina or nyu stern is crazy. 2nd, i never mentioned a hook or anything. and 3rd, admit percentage is not always a reflection of a university's selectivity. Sometimes it does, but that isn't always the case. </p>
<p>ie. university of chicago's admit rate is around 40% but its applicant pool is self selecting. Also state schools tend to have higher acceptance rates b/c well, they are state schools.</p>
<p>All I wanted was the advice of fellow college applicants who may have had experience with those few schools.</p>
